‘Different Approach’- when it comes to building, whether it is a custom home, a renovation or a commercial project Cayman Contemporary Construction Ltd takes a different approach when compared to other builders.
Pricing & bids
We take a significant amount of time up front to price the project according to all of the drawings, specifications and correspondence so as to have a true understanding as to the cost. In many instances this will require a number of questions and answers at the time of bid. The benefit to the client and effectively our relationship with the customer during the project and at completion is that we don’t have to figure out a way to find / create a change order to make up the difference in our price, as well this allows us to provide a competitive price for the project.
Commitment & Reputation
We have made a commitment to and have developed a reputation for committing to each project from start to finish. We will not leave the jobsite until the customer is 100% satisfied with all of the work we have undertaken. We are able to do this because we do not overcommit ourselves to more work than we can properly handle. Once the project is completed we continue our relationship with each customer and provide any necessary alterations.
Quality
We have developed a reputation for delivering a fulfilling customer service experience and a high standard of finish quality, which contributed to our firm being selected on a non-competitive bid for “His Excellency the Governor’s” office.
Resources & Capital
We maintain a strong capital position, which enables us to avoid delay in requisitioning materials or labour. Our construction team is comprised of experienced and efficient long-term employees. These factors, coupled with our commitment to each project, allow projects to be completed on a timely basis.
Method of delivery
We offer a variety of delivery methods ranging from a traditional invitation bid process to a custom-tailored design-build approach. With this latter method, each client selects a preferred architect, schematic plans are drawn and the client is then given a preliminary cost estimate. This can then be reined throughout the design process, taking into account specific finish materials culminating in a negotiated fixed price contract. This method provides best value-for-money and more customization than the bidding mechanisms.
